Acceptable use
Use Influence only for authorized, lawful publishing that respects people, provider rules, system integrity, and intellectual-property rights.
1. Authorized use
Connect and act only on accounts you own or are expressly authorized to manage. Obtain informed approval for automated or scheduled actions and review exactly what will be published, where, and when. Do not impersonate another person or organization or misrepresent an affiliation, endorsement, origin, or automated account.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
Do not use Influence to create, schedule, transmit, or promote:
- illegal activity or content that violates an applicable order;
- spam, platform manipulation, fake engagement, deceptive campaigns, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or bulk unsolicited contact;
- threats, harassment, hateful conduct, exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, or content that endangers a child;
- malware, phishing, credential theft, fraud, scams, or misleading financial, medical, political, or commercial claims;
- content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, confidentiality, data-protection, or other rights; or
- regulated goods, services, contests, endorsements, advertising, or disclosures without every required authorization and notice.
3. Provider rules
Follow each connected provider's terms, community standards, automation rules, rate limits, branding requirements, and content or advertising policies. Do not remove provider attribution, bypass a review or restriction, scrape an undocumented interface, use a development app in production, or route one person's token or private content to another person.
4. Security and system integrity
Do not:
- probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or bypass authentication, the shared authentication, ownership checks, quotas, feature states, or safety controls;
- upload malicious files, exploit vulnerabilities, intercept traffic, reverse engineer protected secrets, or access another workspace;
- share passwords, provider tokens, API keys, session cookies, or recovery credentials; or
- create excessive accounts, duplicate apps, or automated traffic to evade enforcement, provider limits, metering, or payment.
Good-faith security reports should be sent privately to hello@influence.so. Do not disclose or retain another person's data beyond what is needed to report the issue safely.
5. Enforcement
We may block a campaign, disable a connection, preserve bounded evidence, suspend access, or report conduct to a provider or authority when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, providers, or the public. We will consider context, severity, repetition, legal duties, provider requests, and immediate risk. Contact support if you believe an action was taken in error.
