Get startedFrequently asked questions
- Can I connect any Discourse community?
- This connection is for a forum whose administrator can issue an API key for your publishing user. Membership in an unrelated public forum does not provide that access.
- Can I reply to an existing topic?
- Yes. Search for a topic the connected user can access, or enter its number. You can also specify which post the reply addresses. Locked topics and permission restrictions still apply.
- What happens when a post needs moderation?
- A queued submission is not treated as a published post. Review its status in the forum and Influence; an uncertain outcome remains in Needs review until confirmed.
- What Discourse analytics can I see?
- Insights shows the supported topic and post counters returned by your forum, such as views, likes and reads. Topic views and individual post readings have different scopes. Missing values are not recorded as zero.
