Frequently asked questions

Does Influence upload Twitch videos or start streams?: No. This connection sends plain-text chat messages. It does not upload videos, start broadcasts or manage a streaming schedule.
Which Twitch channel receives the message?: The message goes to the connected account's own channel. This is not a general-purpose bot for other streamers' channels.
What is the Twitch message limit?: The current format accepts up to 500 Unicode characters. Uploaded images and videos are not supported.
Can it send during a Shared Chat session?: No. The channel's Shared Chat session must be inactive before publishing through this connection.
What permission does the connection need?: Connect the account with the required chat-writing permission. Account access and current connection availability still apply.
Can I plan a Twitch reminder with other social posts?: Yes. Prepare separate versions for available connected accounts in the same campaign. Review each destination and time.
