What you can publish

One existing group

Each connection sends to one existing Signal V2 group chosen during setup. Direct messages and choosing different recipients for each post are unavailable.

Text, images or one video

Current Influence limits: 2,000 Unicode code points; up to four JPEG, PNG or WebP images at 10 MiB each, or one MP4 at 25 MiB. Combined attachments cannot exceed 30 MiB.

Review before sending

Check the group and complete message before approving an immediate or scheduled send.

Connect an account and prepare a group message

Connect with your phone

Use a dedicated Signal account registered with a phone number and consenting group members. In Accounts, choose Signal and scan the QR from Linked devices on your phone, then select an existing writable group. The unofficial signal-cli integration grants device access to the whole account, even though publication is limited to one group.

An uncertain result needs review

If a send result is inconclusive, Activity keeps it in Needs review. Check the original message before taking another action; Influence never automatically resends an ambiguous message.

Get a first draft with Influence IQ

With a connected Signal account, Influence IQ can suggest editable drafts. It does not choose recipients, approve content or send messages. Review the group, wording and media yourself.

Available IQ drafting and image generation use IQ credits. Check the image quote before starting, then review the final message before approval.

Explore Influence IQ

Start with an AI assistant

A connected Signal account can use text, optionally with up to four ready JPEG, PNG or WebP images in your chosen order, or one verified MP4 video from your media library. Review the exact message in Influence before approval. Follow Settings for your assistant’s setup; support depends on the host.

Explore available connections

Choose from the channels currently available below; each connection has its own account, format and permission requirements.

Prepare your next group message

Create your workspace, connect a dedicated Signal account with your phone and choose an existing group. Review the message before sending or scheduling. If account-link capacity is full, try again later.

Frequently asked questions

How do I connect Signal?
In Accounts, choose Signal. Use a dedicated phone-number Signal account, scan the QR from Linked devices on your phone, then choose an existing group where you can send. New account links are capacity-limited; if there is no room, try again later.
Is this an official Signal business integration?
No. This connection uses the unofficial signal-cli project. An official Signal business API is not available for this integration.
What does this integration not support?
Direct messages, polls, comments, threads, alt text, custom thumbnails and public post URLs are unavailable. Use only the text and media formats described above.
Does a recorded send prove delivery?
No. Signal can confirm that it accepted the send, but that does not confirm delivery to every group member or whether they read it. An uncertain result remains in Needs review.
What Signal Insights are available?
When collected, Insights can show the selected group’s member count from the linked device. Its group state may be cached. No follower history, reach, engagement, delivery or read metrics are supplied.
Can AI assistants work with Signal?
Choose a Signal account connected to your workspace. Assistants support text and, if needed, up to four ready JPEG, PNG or WebP images in your chosen order, or one verified MP4 video from your media library per destination. Review the complete message in Influence before approval. Follow Settings for your chosen assistant’s setup; support depends on the host.
